For Moms and Little Lambs

I am a first-time mom for the second time.

That's right! I have two beautiful boys born ten years apart. Spencer is 10, and Jaden is 6 months. Because it had been so long since I was responsible for taking care of a newborn, I have had to relearn everything. At times, I fell like a brand new first-time mom. Other times, I feel somewhat savvy in this whole newborn/infant thing. Regardless of how inadequate or prepared I have felt, one thing is for sure. Things have changed in the last ten years.

When Spencer was born, I felt I had to buy the same baby stuff that every other mom was buying. The mass produced hum-drum mainstream stuff that Walmart, Kmart, Shopko, and Target stock on their shelves. There are many more options nowadays. Most of them are home-made by moms who have turned boredom into creativity.

Not satisfied whit what everyone else has, always wanting something unique that can make a statement as to who I am, and always having a difficult time finding, it I decided to make my own.
I have been able to combine a few of my very most favorite in the world things, motherhood, fabric and creativity, into something I truly enjoy. Petit Lambie.

I love love LOVE being a mother. I enjoy taking trips to the fabric store just to feel different textiles. I enjoy sifting through online fabric shops to feast my eyes on appealing prints and dreaming up things to make with them. I love being able to sew my ideas into something for little Jaden and enjoy seeing it be useful and cute. I began my business to serve other mothers and their little lambs.

I design and handcraft fresh and functional stuff for modern babies and stylish parents. Each peice is made from my pet free, smoke free home studio. (wish my studio was clutter free, too!) Visit to shop, and stop by often to check out new stuff.

A special thanks to my husband, who believed in me enough to invest in me and this dream of mine. You're Mr. Awesome! and I love you. (sorry for the mush!)
