Owl Hat Giveaway!

Have you seen these? They are all the rage!! So so cute to use as photoprops for your little one's pictures. Or just to have for them to wear. I know, it is summertime - or at least it should be and...I'm not going to complete the excuse. Cuteness is justified any time of year! And FREE is always in style.

Hat to be given away is one of the two pictured in this post. The grey one is size 12-18 months. The white sleeping owl is size 0-3 months. Both were hand crocheted by moi with love in my pet free, smoke free, drug free home studio.

Interesting note: The grey owl was made with vintage yarn. My grandmother was cleaning out some of her stash and gave me some yarn. It had a price sticker on it from Woolworth. Woolworth was a department store in my hometown. It went out of business when I was in my early teens - almost 20 years ago!! While I was crocheting this little owl hat, I remembered going to Woolworth with my dad to buy my favorite childhood toy - My Little Ponies! Thanks for the yarn, Grandma! It brought back some good memories :o)
